This policy explains what lifepathcalculators.com/ collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.
What we collect when you use a calculator
Nothing. The birth date you enter is used to produce the result on screen and is not stored on our servers. You do not need an account, and you are not asked for an email address to see any free result on this site.
What we collect if you request a profile by email
If you choose to have a profile emailed to you, we store your email address, the birth date you entered, and the numbers calculated from it. This is so we can send the profile and, where you have consented, follow-up emails about your numbers.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link, which stops all marketing email immediately. You can also ask us to delete your record entirely at any time.
What we collect if you buy a report
For a purchase we store your email address, the birth date used for the report, the report type, and an order reference beginning with LPC.
Payment is processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. We never see or store your card details at any point. Dodo Payments has its own privacy policy governing what it collects when processing your payment, and you should read it if that matters to you.
Order records are kept for one year, after which they are deleted.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses; it uses them transiently to derive approximate location and then discards them. What we see is aggregate — which pages are visited, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. We cannot identify you from it.
Beyond the cookies Google Analytics sets, this site sets no cookies of its own. There is no advertising, no retargeting, no third-party tracking scripts and no social media pixels. If that changes we will update this policy and say so here.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information, and we never have. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. The only third parties who process anything are Dodo Payments, for taking payment, and Google Analytics, for page statistics.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email contact@lifepathcalculators.com and we will respond within seven days.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request its deletion, and the right to opt out of its sale. As above, we do not sell personal information. Exercising any of these rights will not result in different treatment or pricing.
Data retention in summary
- Free calculations: never stored.
- Email subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion.
- Order records: one year.
- Analytics: aggregate only, retained by Google under their standard settings.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
Changes will be posted here with the date at the top updated. Material changes affecting data we already hold will be notified by email where we hold an address for you.
