What does a complete birth date profile include?

A single birth date produces several numbers, not one. This calculator returns all of them together: your Life Path number, your Birthday Number, your current Personal Year, the Universal Year that feeds into it, and flags for any karmic debt numbers or master numbers that appeared during the calculation.

Each of those is shown with its own arithmetic, so you can follow how the same date produced five different figures. Nothing is stored and no sign-up is required to see your numbers.

Why calculate them together?

Because traditional practice reads them together. A practitioner presented with a single number would ask for the others before saying much, and the older sources are consistent that interpreting a Life Path in isolation is a beginner’s error rather than a shortcut.

The reason is that the numbers modify each other. A Life Path 7 is traditionally associated with withdrawal and analysis. That reading changes depending on whether the person is currently in a Personal Year 1, which the tradition associates with initiation and would read as working against the grain, or a Personal Year 7, which would reinforce it. Add a karmic debt number to the picture and the reading shifts again. None of that is visible from one figure.

What each number in your profile means

Your Life Path comes from your full birth date and does not change. It is the broadest of the numbers and the one practitioners treat as the standing theme.

Your Birthday Number comes from the day of the month alone. The tradition reads it as a more specific modifier — a particular ability or inclination sitting within the wider Life Path theme.

Your Personal Year comes from your birth month and day combined with the current calendar year, and it changes annually. It describes the present conditions rather than the standing theme.

Karmic debt flags appear when 13, 14, 16 or 19 shows up during the reduction. They are recorded alongside the Life Path rather than replacing it. Master number flags appear when a calculation halts at 11, 22 or 33 instead of reducing further.

How the free profile differs from the paid report

The profile above is free and returns every number with its arithmetic and an interpretation of each one individually. That is the whole of the free tier, and it is not a teaser — it is a complete answer to the question of what your numbers are.

What the free tier does not do is interpret the numbers against each other: how a particular Personal Year lands on a particular Life Path, what a karmic debt number does to the reading of the number it reduces to, how a Birthday Number modifies the whole. That combined interpretation is what the paid reports cover. We mention it here rather than hiding it, because you should know what you are getting before you enter anything.

Frequently asked questions

What else can be derived from a birth date?

Beyond the core numbers above, the tradition derives several further figures. The Birth Card maps a birth date onto a tarot correspondence. The Personal Month and Personal Day track shorter cycles inside the Personal Year.

Two further numbers require a name as well as a date, and are kept on their own pages with the dependency stated: the Maturity Number, which combines the Life Path with a name-derived Expression, and Karmic Lessons, which come from the name alone. The boundary between the two branches is explained in name numerology versus birth date numerology.

Do you store my birth date?

No. The calculation runs and the result is displayed; nothing is retained unless you choose to enter an email address to have the profile sent to you.

Why do I have more than one karmic debt number?

Because they can appear at more than one stage of the calculation. A year component might reduce through 19 while the total passes through 16. Both are recorded. See karmic debt numbers.

Can my profile contain no flags at all?

Yes, and many do. An absence of karmic debt or master numbers is not read as significant in either direction — it simply means the arithmetic passed through none of those values.
